Every group of young people I ever meet, I say one thing to them, in a variety of ways: do something you like doing and do it to the best of your ability ...
I wanted to reach the 100 milestone for a while and has taken longer than anticipated. Why is that I hear you ask? A number of reasons, but before we get to that, I just want to say that I love writing these blog posts and I hope you have found them interesting and informative. I hope that in some small way, they have helped your business become more aware of how to stay more secure in the world of technology.
So, back to the why it has taken longer to get to one hundred: I love writing about the topics that actually form every part of my daily working life, but there have been some weeks that I haven't had time to write as I am blessed to be so busy.
Some weeks, I have had a good number of proposals to write up for new and existing clients so blogging has had to be parked for that week, and I let my editor Steffi recycle one of my older posts so at least something is getting out there.
I write from my industry knowledge and experience and am always learning and reading about new technologies to keep up-to-date with industry trends and developments. I don't use AI to write my blogs, apart from once. I should run a competition to see who can spot it ( from the previous ninety-nine blog posts), as it took less than 5 minutes to create ... not write and edit.
This was a personal experiment as ChatGPT, Copilot, Google Gemini and other Generative AI platforms have sprung up out of DevOps Labs of all major technology companies in the past twelve months. AI has become all the rage, and it doesn't look like going out of fashion anytime soon.
In this particular case, the topic I wanted to write about was quite detailed and I needed to save time, so it worked. It was just an experiment as I am a published author in any case, so will continue to write my own blog posts throughout 2025.
Anyway, I'm signing off for 2024 and will be keeping one eye on the technology industry whilst relaxing with a good old-fashioned paperback for the next few weeks.
Wishing You all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
